John's passion for real estate began early, fueled by hands-on experience. He honed his skills through home improvement projects with his father, vocational training in trades like plumbing, and 10 years in the plumbing industry's sales side.
Building a Successful Path
This foundation led John to a successful real estate career. He started by investing in, renovating, and selling properties in 2004. Recognizing his talent, he obtained his license in 2006 and quickly leveraged his experience to help others achieve their homeownership dreams. John has since guided over 360 families to finding their perfect haven.
Leadership and Community Involvement
John's commitment extends beyond transactions. He actively serves his community. He previously served as a director for Leadership Citrus and is currently a Director for Jessie's Place. John's dedication extends to the Realtors Association of Citrus County, where he served on the Board of Directors for 5 years, earning Realtor of the Year recognition. He also held a seat on the MLS Board of Managers, playing a key role in developing a new, efficient listing system.
Building a Thriving Business
John's entrepreneurial spirit led him and his business partner, David Bramblett, to launch Active Agent Realty in 2014. Their vision expanded to include property management in 2015 and a dedicated commercial team, offering comprehensive real estate solutions. Fueled by repeat customers and referrals, John prioritizes building lasting relationships with his customers.
A Family Man at Heart
Outside of work, John cherishes time with his wife, Cassandra, their children, and grandchildren. John's commitment to family and community translates into a deep desire to help families find the perfect place to call home.
